57-mm L/48 Nordenfelt anti-aircraft gun of the Russian Navy, captured by the Germans, 1917.

 

57-mm L/48 Nordenfelt anti-aircraft gun of the Russian Navy. He was captured by the Germans on the Island of the Moon (Woi), near Oesel Island, in October 1917, during the course of Operation Albion. Four German sailors pose in the 'bunker' that served as a refuge for Russian sailors.

Cañón antiaéreo de 57-mm L/48 Nordenfelt de la Marina Rusa. Fue capturado por los alemanes en la Isla de la Luna (Woi), próxima a la Isla Oesel, en octubre de 1917, durante el transcurso de la Operación Albión. Cuatro marinos alemanes posan en el 'bunker' que servía de refugio a los marineros rusos.

Russian 76.2-mm M1902 Putilov Field Gun, used unmodified by the Austro-Hungarians for anti-aircraft fire.

A revealing image of the Austro-Hungarian use of Russian field artillery captured and used, unmodified, for anti-aircraft fire. In this case it is a 76.2-mm M1902 Putilov field gun. The ammunition used would be the original Russian. The gun was situated north of the Slovenian village of Fobca, in Neu-Görz, near the Isonzo river.

Cañón de Campaña ruso 76,2-mm M1902 Putilov, utilizado sin modificar por los austro-húngaros para el tiro antiaéreo.

Una imagen reveladora del uso, por parte de los austro-húngaros, de la artillería de campaña rusa capturada y utilizada, sin modificar, para el tiro antiaéreo. En este caso se trata de un cañón de 76,2-mm M1902 Putilov. La munición utilizada sería la original rusa. El cañón estaba situado al norte de la aldea eslovena de Fobca, en Neu-Görz, cerca del río Isonzo.
