Italian 75-mm L/27 Déport M1911 Anti-Aircraft Gun.

A versatile Italian 75 mm L/27 Déport M1911 gun, used as an anti-aircraft gun. It was installed on a "drum" type concrete platform, located in the center of a shallow pit. The gunners of the piece pose around. As a curiosity, we provide the data that the 75/27 Déport Mod. 1911 gun, was the most used piece by the Italian Army in anti-aircraft functions, during the First World War.

Italian 76-mm L/17 Ansaldo M1918 Anti-Aircraft Guns on Monte Vignola.

"Italian 76-mm L/17 Ansaldo M1918 Anti-Aircraft Guns on Monte Vignola"

A section of Italian antiaircraft artillery, composed of two fixed guns on pedestal, 76-mm L/17 “Cannone da 76-17 Ansaldo M1918”. To your right, on a platform, the direction of shooting of the pieces. This section, which had to be completed with another, possibly on the same top, completing the battery, turns out to be one of the few graphic testimonies of these rare guns “deployed in the field”. Monte Vignola, Trentino, Italy 1918.
